Says “White South Africans are being murdered,” but gives no proof again
US President Donald Trump has announced that no American officials will be attending the upcoming G20 summit in South Africa this month.
While making the announcement, Trump once again repeated his old claim that “White South Africans are being murdered and oppressed” — a statement that has no solid evidence to back it up.
He said this while talking about U.S. relations with South Africa, but offered no new details or data to support his claim.
Officials in both the U.S. and South Africa have previously dismissed these allegations as baseless and politically motivated.
