After their historic Asia Cup 2025 triumph, Team India is now facing West Indies in a Test series. The first Test is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Batting first, West Indies were bundled out for just 162 runs. In reply, Indian batsmen dominated the game.
By Day 2 stumps, India posted 448 runs, taking a commanding lead of 286 runs.
The highlight of the day was young wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel, who scored a brilliant century and entertained the fans. Along with him, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja also smashed superb hundreds, strengthening India’s grip on the match.
India will now look to pile up more runs on Day 3 and put West Indies completely out of contention.
